Good Evening
Following on from our weekend’s announcements, we are just writing to let you know that all season tickets this season will be through use of a digital card. These digital cards will be sent next Saturday to this same contact email or for those who have registered by phone , their mobile address
We are making these changes for various reasons
We now have a modern ticketing system that allows us to join the the majority of the sports and entertainment industry where the use of digital access cards are the main point of accessing games. Our new ticketing system means for the first time in the Club’s history we have the majority of our customer base contact information so that we can communicate much better moving forward whether thats in terms of renewals, changes in fixtures, match day arrangements
We have become one of the few Clubs now that still have 100% coverage of plastic cards. This costs the Club significant amounts of monies which I’m sure fans will understand are far better spent on the team and the infrastructure of the Stadium
The ticketing system will allow supporters to also print at home like many of our supporters already do for home games. Almost 75% of our match day tickets are currently bought this way to access games
So what will happen next…
You will be sent next Saturday 8th February 2025 your ticket for the new season. This will be sent with a user guide on how to download to your phone or how to print at home.
For any supporters who have issues such as not being able to access a printer, we will be on hand in the Club shop to help supporters print these tickets off. These tickets will be sent to all season ticket holder types, 100 Club, Life members etc
I spoke with many supporters over the weekend some who are embracing the changes like they do elsewhere when buying tickets for other events, and some fans who genuinely will need help in dealing with the new arrangements. We will be there to help everybody but we really do believe this will be a step in the right direction in modernising our ticketing arrangements
Many thanks
